【摘要】:Conditioningofspecimensistypicallyconducted:(1)forthepurposeofbringingthematerialintoequilibriumwithnormaloraverageroomconditions,(2)simplytoobtainreproducibleresults,regardlessofprevioushistoryofexposure,or(3)tosubjectthematerialtoabnormalconditionsoftemperatureorhumidityinordertopredictitsservicebehavior.Theconditioningproceduresprescribedinthispracticearedesignedtoobtainreproducibleresultsandhavethepotentialtogivephysicalvaluessomewhathigherorsomewhatlowerthanvaluesunderequilibriumatnormalconditions,dependingupontheparticularmaterialandtest.Dependingonthethickness,typeofmaterialanditsprevioushistory,itispossiblethatitwouldtake20to100daysormoretoensuresubstantialequilibriumundernormalconditionsofhumidityandtemperature.Consequently,conditioningforreproducibilitymustofnecessitybeusedforgeneralpurchasespecificationsandproductcontroltests.1.1Ingeneral,thephysicalandelectricalpropertiesofplasticsareinfluencedbytemperatureandrelativehumidityinamannerthatmateriallyaffectstestresults.Inordertomakereliablecomparisonsbetweendifferentmaterialsandbetweendifferentlaboratories,itisnecessarytostandardizethehumidityconditions,aswellasthetemperature,towhichspecimensofthesematerialsaresubjectedpriortoandduringtesting.Thispracticedefinesproceduresforconditioningplastics(althoughnotnecessarilytoequilibrium)priortotesting,andtheconditionsunderwhichtheyshallbetested.1.2Forsomematerials,itispossiblethatamaterialspecificationexiststhatrequirestheuseofthispractice,butwithsomeproceduralmodifications.Thematerialspecificationtakesprecedenceoverthispractice.Refertothematerialspecificationbeforeusingthispractice.Table1inClassificationD4000liststheASTMmaterialspecificationsthatcurrentlyexist.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThisstandardandISO291addressthesamesubjectmatter,butdifferintechnicalcontent.ISO291describesonlytwotemperatureandhumidityconditionsforconditioningortesting,orboth.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesastandardreferencemethodforthedeterminationofPM10andPM2,5massconcentrationsatstationaryemissionsourcesbyuseoftwo-stageimpactors.Themeasurementmethodisespeciallysuitableformeasurementsofmassconcentrationsbelow40mg/m3ashalf-hourlyaveragesinstandardconditions(273K,1013hPa,drygas).Itisanacceptablemethodforthemeasurementinthefluegasofdifferentinstallations,suchascementandsteelproductionplants,aswellascombustionprocesses.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletothesamplingoffluegasesthataresaturatedwithwatervapour.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicablewherethemajorityoftheparticlesarelikelytoexceedPM10,forexample,inthecaseofrawgasesorplantoperatingfailures.NOTE1Measurementsofparticulateconcentrationshigherthan40mg/m3,asahalf-hourlyaverageinstandardconditions(273K,1013hPa,drygas),canleadtooverloadingofthecollectingplatesandbackupfiltersandalsocouldresultinshortersamplingtimes.NOTE2Thecollectingplatesandbackupfilterscanbeusedforfurtherchemicalanalysis.ThisInternationalStandardcannotbeusedforthedeterminationofthetotalmassconcentrationofdust.NOTE3Fordataassessmentpurposes,itcanbeusefultoperformmeasurementsoftotalparticulatematterinparalleltothePM10andPM2,5measurements.ThisInternationalStandarddescribesthedesign,useandtheoryofround-nozzleimpactors.Itdoesnotexcludeothertypesofimpactors,providedthesesystemsmeettheperformancecriteriaspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardinavalidationoftheimpactorperformedbyanindependenttestinglaboratory.
