【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectrichumidifiersforhouseholdandsimilaruse,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250Vforsingle-phaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.NOTE101Examplesofappliancesthatarewithinthescopeofthestandardare-appliancesthatatomizewater;-appliancesthatevaporatewaterbyheating;-appliancesthatblowairthroughamoistelement.Appliancesthatarenotintendedfornormalhouseholduse,butthatneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount-theuseofappliancesbyyoungchildrenorinfirmpersonswithoutsupervision;-playingwiththeappliancebyyoungchildren.NOTE102Attentionisdrawntothefactthat-forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;-inmanycountriesadditionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabourandsimilarauthorities.NOTE103Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto-humidifiersintendedforusewithheating,ventilationorair-conditioningsystems(IEC60335-2-88);-appliancesformedicalpurposes(IEC60601);-appliancesintendedexclusivelyforindustrialpurposes;-appliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas).
