【摘要】:Theresultsofthistestindicatewhetherornotasheetsteelwillcausereboilingunderonegivensetofenamelingconditionsandenabletheenamelprocessortoestablishapossiblesourceofimperfectionsinthefinishedcoating.Thistestmethodisnormallyusedtotestsamplesfromlots,coils,orliftsofsheetsteelwhichforsomereason,productionproblems,defectsevidentonenameledparts,orproductionexperiencearesuspectedofcausingdefectsinenameledwarewhichhavetheappearanceofreboiling.Itisoftenusedtoestablishwhetheraproblemexistswiththebaresteelorotherfactorssuchastheporcelainenamel,processingcontamination,andsoforth.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwhetherasheetsteelforporcelainenamelingwillreboilunderagivensetofworsecaseconditions.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
